On the 2nd of June, the presidents from all 30 societies across the United Kingdom joined us alongside the Ambassador, Vadym Prystaiko at the Embassy of Ukraine in London, and our trustees to mark one-year anniversary of the Ukrainian Students Union.
We gathered together to honour the projects and initiatives undertaken by the Ukrainian Students Union over the past year.
The event featured a series of engaging speeches to celebrate this significant milestone. Additionally, collaboration between USU and Legacy Ukraine project was introduced to the fellow attendees.
This day arose the opportunity to further develop our organisation and representatives of the business, finance and export spheres. These conversations stimulate ideas and plans for the future contributions within our community and provide reassurance and support from such esteemed partners and members to empower the future generation of talented youth to rebuild our country.
later that evening, students had the chance to network and connect with fellow Ukrainians at a social, catching up with existing friends and forging new relationships within the Ukrainian student community in the UK.
