The Ukrainian Society at Oxford Brookes University, founded in August 2024, is an active and rapidly growing community. From the start, we joined the Ukrainian Societies Union (USU) and collaborate with the University of Oxford, as well as other international student societies, organizing joint events that promote cultural exchange and solidarity.
With around 50 active members, we focus on spreading Ukrainian culture, history, and awareness about the war, hosting educational and social events, including cultural gatherings, discussions, and fundraisers.
Being a modern university in England, Oxford Brookes provides a great platform for our initiatives, allowing us to engage with a diverse student body. Our society is growing fast, and we have already become a close-knit family, united by our shared values and passion for Ukraine.
