The OUUS is a student-run society that promotes Ukrainian culture and intellectual heritage within the University of Oxford. Currently the Society unites more than 50 members of the University community, including current students, lecturers, and alumni. Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine the Society has been actively engaged in informing the University and city community about the war, running a number of fundraising initiatives and helping Ukrainian community in Oxfordshire.

The University offers Graduate Scholarships for Ukraine which is proudly supported by the XTX Markets Academic Sanctuaries Fund in 2023-24.
