The Ukrainian Society at Bath University was established on 10.08.2024. As the Ukrainian Society at the University of Bath, we organise lively social events, including themed parties, group outings around the city, engaging games nights, festive celebrations, and fundraising activities to support meaningful causes and bring our community together.

When we began thinking about creating a society, we realised we knew very few Ukrainians—we simply couldn’t find them. This inspired us to establish a society dedicated to uniting Ukrainians at the University of Bath and within the local community.

In just five months, the Ukrainian Society has become an integral part of student life. During this time, we have collaborated with other societies, organised various events, joined the Ukrainian Student Union, and supported the charity organisation ‘Friends of Oleksandriya’ through initiatives such as ‘Wrapathon’ and ‘Parkour for Ukraine.’

Our society has not only brought Ukrainians together but also created opportunities to share our culture, support charitable causes, and foster meaningful connections across the university and beyond.
